Ultrasound scans for Women's Health and Gynaecological assessments.
The images revealed through pelvic ultrasound scanning allow us to evaluate the uterus, ovaries and endometrium and other organs within the pelvis. This helps in a diagnosis of the causes behind symptoms such as heavy bleeding and pain. We routinely use 3D and colour doppler imaging for all Gynaecological scans. We also offer HyFosy scans to assess patency of Fallopian tubes.
Ultrasound scanning for renal, abdominal and other symptoms Ultrasound scanning is also used to inspect kidney structure and function, to observe other abdominal organs and analyse activity elsewhere in the body, for instance in breast tissue.
